Since thousands of year the miswak is being used as a natural toothbrush. It is extracted from the root of the Arak tree. The Miswak not only cleanses the teeth, it also fluoridates, reduces or eliminated inflammation and supports the healing process of injuries. It contains basanite crystals which function as abrasive particles. Furthermore the miswak contains silicium, calcium sulphate, saponin and tannin (antioxidants). Germs and bacteria are being eliminated.

Application: Application: Remove 5 mm of the bark and chew until the tip of the miswak is a soft bundle of fibers. Now you can use the miswak as a regular toothbrush and cleanse tooth surface and gum applying gentle pressure. Fibers which fall off can be disgorged or swallowed. To renew the toothbrush cut off the soft fibers and start the process again.
